Sean Penn has always been a lightening rod for criticism from the right. I fear that many people don't realize what he is up to these days. He happens to be in Haiti sweating blood to try and help the most devastated country in our part of the world. These are our neighbors, we have much to atone for in that country. This most glaring example being the Bush administration backed Coup and overthrow of Jean-Bertrand Aristide in 2004. You may not agree with him helping another country, when there is plenty of work to do right here, however you can not accuse him of being all talk and no action. His work is very honorable, and producing true relief for many in need. His detractors would do well to think long before defaming. Read this article. I also posted a link to one about the Aristide Coup, in case everyone has forgotten.
